Outlook - Synchronization Log Notification
You may occasionally receive an email from Outlook about a “synchronization log.” This is usually normal and simply means Outlook is checking that what’s on your computer matches what’s on the mail server.
Instructions
What you should do
In most cases: nothing. Outlook runs synchronization checks in the background as part of normal operation.
Don’t worry if you’re not seeing any problems. If Outlook notices small inconsistencies, it often fixes them automatically without you needing to do anything.
Keep Outlook updated. Updates can improve syncing and reduce the chance of errors.
Contact support if you notice ongoing issues such as:
Emails not sending or receiving
Missing messages or folders that don’t match between devices
Repeated sync errors that don’t go away
