Outlook - Ezlynx add-in - Renaming and choosing attachments

This guide explains how to use the Outlook Add-in for EZLynx to save emails, rename attachments, select relevant attachments, and associate emails with applicants, policies, and additional notes or tasks.

Instructions

 

  1. Open Outlook and select the email you want to save in EZLynx.

  2. Choose the appropriate applicant to associate with the email.

  3. Click the Save Email button.

  1. Update the Discussion Title if needed; it defaults to the email’s subject line.

  2. Enter any notes in the provided field.

  3. Add tasks, labels, sticky notes, and associate the email with a policy if applicable.

  4. Use the toggle to:

    1. Exclude all attachments,

    2. Include embedded images, or

    3. Select individual attachments to save.

  5. Click the Edit (pencil) icon next to each attachment to rename files as needed before saving.

  6. Once all selections and edits are complete, click the Save button to store the email and attachments in EZLynx.

The add-in now supports bulk renaming of attachments for improved efficiency and better integration with recent M365 updates. Attachments saved maintain their renamed titles within EZLynx for easier tracking. The interface also allows previewing attachments before saving to confirm correct file selection.
