Outlook - Open Links in Default Browser

This article provides instructions on how to configure Microsoft Outlook to open links in the default browser.

Instructions

 

Computer Settings

  1. Open Start > Settings > Apps > Default apps.

  2. Select your preferred browser.

  3. Choose Set default.

Outlook Settings

  1. Open Outlook.

  2. Select File > Options > Advanced.

  3. Go to File and browser preferences.

  4. Next to Open hyperlinks from Outlook in, choose Default Browser.

  5. Click OK.
