Computer - Incorrect Time Zone

Problem

The time zone on a computer can be wrong. This article provides instructions for changing a user's time zone on a workstation.

Solution

1. Open Settings.

2. Go to Time & Language.

3. In the Settings window, click on Time & Language in the left-hand menu.

4. Select Date & Time.

5. Under Time & Language, click on Date & Time.

6. Change the Time Zone.

7. Scroll down to the Time zone section.

8. You'll see a drop-down menu under Time zone. Click on the drop-down and select the correct time zone for your location.

9. Enable Automatic Time Zone (Optional)

   1. If you want Windows to adjust your time zone automatically based on your location, make sure the Set time zone automatically toggle is On.
