Allworx - Set Up Personal Speed Dial
This article provides step-by-step instructions to set up personal speed dial entries on your Allworx phone, allowing quick and easy access to frequently dialed numbers.
Instructions
Press the Config button on your Allworx phone.
When the Personal Speed Dial option is highlighted on the screen, press the Select button.
Use the Up/Down Arrow keys to scroll to the desired speed dial number you want to program, then press Select.
Enter the extension or full phone number using the keypad, then press Select to confirm.
Enter a name to associate with the speed dial number using the keypad:
Use the # key to insert a space between characters.
Use the Up/Down Arrow keys to act as a backspace for correcting input.
Press Select to save the entry.
Speed dial numbers typically range from 1 to 99, depending on your Allworx phone model and system configuration.
Personal speed dial entries are stored locally on the phone, so they do not affect system-wide speed dial lists.
To edit or delete an existing personal speed dial entry, repeat the steps above, select the programmed number, and overwrite or clear the information as needed.
