Allworx - Use Personal Speed Dial

This article explains how to use the personal speed dial feature on your Allworx phone to quickly call frequently dialed numbers or extensions.

Instructions

 

  1. Pick up a free line by lifting the handset or pressing the speakerphone button.

  2. Press the SpDial button on your phone. This button accesses your personal speed dial list.

  3. Enter the number on the keypad that corresponds to the programmed speed dial entry you want to call.

  • Personal speed dial numbers are pre-programmed by your system administrator or can be programmed by the user, depending on your phone model and permissions.

  • The number keys used for personal speed dial usually range from 1 to 9 or 0, each mapped to a specific contact or extension.

  • If you are unsure which numbers are programmed, consult your administrator or refer to your user guide for instructions on programming speed dial entries.

  • If the speed dial button or feature is not working as expected, verify that your phone firmware is up to date. Firmware updates can be found on the Allworx support portal.
