Allworx - Change Your Presence Settings Remotely

This guide explains how to remotely change your presence settings on an Allworx phone system using the voicemail system.

Instructions

 

  1. Dial 6 + the extension number from any voicemail box or auto attendant.

    • Example: To access extension 1234, dial 61234.

  2. Enter your voicemail password/PIN, followed by the pound sign (#).

    • Example: If your PIN is 1234, enter 1234#.

  3. Press 4 to access Message Center System Settings.

  4. Press 1 for Presence Settings.

  5. Choose your desired presence status by pressing the corresponding number:

    • 2 – At a Meeting

    • 3 – On Vacation

    • 4 – On Business Trip

    • 5 – At Home

    • 6 – Away

    • 7 – Busy

Your presence setting will be updated in the system and visible to others based on your configuration.
