Allworx - Perform Announced/Attended Call Transfer
This guide explains how to perform an announced (attended) call transfer on an Allworx phone system. An announced transfer allows you to speak with the intended recipient before completing the transfer.
Instructions
While on an active call, press the Transfer button on your Allworx phone.
Select a second available line on the phone.
Dial the extension number (or external number) of the person to whom you want to transfer the call.
Wait for the recipient to answer, then announce the call.
To complete the transfer, press the Transfer button again. The two parties will now be connected.
To cancel the transfer before completing it, press the Release or Cancel button (depending on the phone model).
To return to the original caller, press the button corresponding to the line on which the original call is being held.
