Allworx - Access Outside Lines

This guide explains how to make external calls using Allworx IP Phones, including dialing procedures with and without a Personal Identification Number (PIN).

Instructions

 

Without a PIN:

Dial 9 to get an outside line, then enter the phone number you wish to call.

With a PIN:

Dial 78, then enter your assigned PIN, followed by the phone number.

The digit "9" is typically used as the outside line access code, but verify with your organization in case of different configurations.

The PIN method is used for security or billing purposes, ensuring only authorized users can place external calls. Highlight important information in a panel like this one. To edit this panel's color or style, select one of the options in the menu.
