AMS - Outlook add-in installation

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the AMS360 Outlook Add-in, enabling seamless integration between AMS360 and Microsoft Outlook for improved productivity.

Instructions

 

  1. Download and install the Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime if not already installed. This runtime is required for the add-in to function properly.

  2. Access AMS360 Administration Center.

    1. Open the AMS360 Administration Center using appropriate credentials.

    2. Navigate to the Utilities section found on the left-hand menu.

    3. Click on AMS360 Downloads.

  1. Download the Add-in.

    1. Scroll to the Outlook Add-in section at the bottom of the AMS360 Downloads page.

    2. Download the file named AMS360OutlookAddin.msi.

  2. Run the downloaded MSI installer and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.

  3. After installation, instruct the user to restart Microsoft Outlook to activate the AMS360 Outlook Add-in.

  4. Verify that the AMS tab or toolbar appears within Outlook, confirming successful installation.

Ensure that Outlook is fully updated to avoid conflicts with the add-in.

If the add-in does not appear after installation, verify that it is enabled in Outlook under File > Options > Add-ins. Manage COM Add-ins and enable the AMS360 Add-in if necessary.

For troubleshooting, clear Outlook’s cache or repair the add-in via the Control Panel if installation issues arise.
