Microsoft Teams - Freezing
Problem
This article provides steps to resolve freezing issues in Microsoft Teams when the app continues to freeze even after reinstalling and repairing the application.
Solution
Clear the Teams app cache
Sign out of the Teams app.
Right-click on the Teams icon in the taskbar and select Quit Teams.
Open Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps and search for Microsoft Teams. Click the 3 dots > Advanced options
Click on Reset.
Reopen Microsoft Teams.
Sign in again to check if the issue is resolved.
If the issue persists
Uninstall Microsoft Teams by opening Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps and search for Microsoft Teams. Click the 3 dots then click Uninstall.
Download and install the Teams desktop app from Microsoft’s official Teams download page. After installation, sign in with your account.
