SSO App Configuration Smartsheet

SSO App Configuration Smartsheet

App name: Smartsheet SSO

App ID: 90a2fbdc-3034-4717-a6fa-99f0bbe902fe

Assigned security group (this group does not assign licenses)

Only users in this group will be able to login.

Configured login option:

  • MyApps tile Smartsheet SSO

  • If user navigates to site, they will use the Sign in with your company account button

  • SSO login is enforced for trucordia.com accounts only. Users with non-trucordia.com accounts, internal or external, continue logging in with their Smartsheet email and password.

Provisioning was not configured due to the following:

  • When SCIM provisioning is used with a User Model plan, any users added via SCIM provisioning or via UAP are added as Viewers to your plan. There is no option for Unlicensed Users, aside from one exception: Unlicensed System Admins. When a user is added as a Viewer they will have the ability to create. If the user creates, or takes a qualifying action on a shared asset, they will become a Provisional Member.

  • A user will only get provisioned on the CREATE call. This means they will not be changed on the UPDATE call.

    • For example, if a System Admin adds a new user via SCIM, the user is assigned the Viewer User type. If, after, the System Admin changes the user's access to "No access" via the Admin Center, SCIM will not change the user back to being a Viewer.

  • You cannot update user type (Guest, no access, etc) via SCIM; SCIM customers will need to manage User Types manually in the Admin Center.

Since provisioning is disabled, manage user creation, roles, and permissions through the Smartsheet admin portal.
