This guide outlines how to trouble shoot calls going directly to voicemail.
Instructions
If you have a desk phone, make sure that the DND (Do-Not-Disturb) button is not turned on.
If your DND button is off check your desktop app or web app settings.
Open the RingCentral app on desktop or web.
Navigate to phone and click on Incoming call rules.
Check forward all call and do not disturb options are turned off.
If they are turned off check you incoming call rules.
Click on Incoming call rules, first check your office hours to make sure they are set correctly.
Check to make sure that the option for Greet caller with a message option is turned off. If it is turned on make sure that you have not recorded your out of office message under this option by mistake. Check the message to make sure that is not an out of office greeting. You can change the message or simply just turn off the message by clicking on the radio button to turn it off.
