Adobe - How to repair Acrobat

This article provides instructions on how to repair an Adobe Acrobat installation.

Instructions

 

  1. Open Adobe Acrobat.

  2. From the top menu, select Help.

In newer Adobe Acrobat versions, click on the 3 lines on the top left to view Help.

  1. Click Repair Installation (this option may appear as Repair Acrobat Installation in some versions).

  1. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the repair process.

  2. Restart your computer if prompted.

This process helps resolve issues caused by corrupted files or incomplete updates. If problems persist, try updating Acrobat to the latest version or reinstalling the application.
