MFA - Setup Microsoft Authenticator App
This article explains how to set up the Microsoft Authenticator App on your phone. This applies to both iPhone and Android
Instructions
Download and install the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone (or tablet):
The following instructions need to be done on a computer.
Sign in to the Security info page of your work or school account at mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info.
If you don’t see the Security info page, go to Additional security verification, then select the checkbox next to Authenticator app, and then select Configure.
Select +Add sign-in method.
Choose Microsoft Authenticator and follow the given instructions.
In the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone, tap the + icon and select Add account.
Select Work or school account then tap Scan a QR Code
Scan the QR code that was provided on the computer. Now when you attempt to login you’ll get a notification from the app.
