We are implementing technical measures to align with the company directive to standardize Microsoft Copilot as the sole approved AI platform for work-related tasks.

Overview

Access to public AI platforms is restricted through our IOA (Indicators of Access) enforcement mechanism. This includes platforms such as:

  • ChatGPT (OpenAI)

  • Google Gemini / Bard

  • Claude (Anthropic)

  • Perplexity, Poe, Deepseek, and others

Attempts to access these platforms via direct URLs or alternate domains will be blocked.

What’s Approved

Microsoft Copilot remains available and is integrated into your Trucordia laptop, accessible via the taskbar. This private instance ensures company data stays secure and compliant.

Why This Matters

This initiative supports the CIO’s guidance to:

Protect intellectual property and sensitive client data

Prevent accidental exposure of confidential information to public AI services

Promote a consistent and secure AI experience across the organization

Mac Users

Copilot integration for Mac devices is in progress. In the meantime, access Copilot via browser at https://copilot.microsoft.com/ using your company Microsoft account.

Common Questions

  1. How do I remove my non-approved AI tool bookmark?

    1. You will need to remove it via the Bookmark Manager.

      1. Chrome: Click the three dots at the top right > Bookmarks and lists > Bookmark manager. Then scroll down to the link you want to delete, click the three dots on the right of it and click delete.

  2. What can I do to prepare for the upcoming change? OR What can I do to use the AI platform in a secure manner?

    1. Use Copilot for all AI-related tasks

    2. Avoid uploading company data to public AI platforms

    3. Participate in upcoming training sessions on secure AI usage

    4. Contact the Cybersecurity team if you need assistance or believe an exception is necessary

  3. Whenever I hover over or search for a non-approved AI tool, the browser will automatically close out!

    1. This is expected activity as Microsoft Copilot is the only authorized AI platform. This AI platform is already integrated into your Trucordia laptop and accessible via the taskbar.
