From the Manufacturer

1. Identify the model.

   1. Find the printer model number on the device or in the purchase documentation.

2. Download from Manufacturer.

   1. Visit the manufacturer’s official support website (HP, Canon, etc.).

   2. Navigate to the Drivers section.

   3. Download the latest version for your operating system.

3. Open the downloaded file and follow the prompts to complete the installation.

4. Restart the computer (if needed) to finalize the installation.

Windows update

1. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update. Check for driver updates, often found under Optional updates.

Windows Device Manager

1. Open Device Manager.

   1. Locate the printer under Printers or Queues.

   2. Right-click and select Update driver to let Windows search automatically.
