Microsoft Office - Auto recover file location
Problem
Users experience Auto Recover files saving to the computer's document folder instead of OneDrive. Adjusting settings in MS Office apps resolves this issue.
Solution
Navigate to File.
Select Options and click on Save.
In the Default file location field, enter the path to the OneDrive Document folder.
Confirm the changes by clicking OK.
Each Office app can have a different default save location. Ensure the selected location is within a personal or business OneDrive folder for Auto Recover to function correctly.
