Microsoft 365 - Repair Process on Windows 11

This article provides information on how to repair Microsoft 365 on Windows 11.

Instructions

Right-click the Start button and select Installed apps from the pop-up menu.

Select the Microsoft 365 or Office product to repair.
Click the ellipses next to the product and select Modify.

This action repairs the entire Office suite, even if only one application, such as Word or Excel, requires repair. For standalone apps, search for the application by name.

Depending on the Microsoft 365 or Office installation type (Click-to-run or MSI-based), follow the appropriate steps below:
1. Click-to-run:
  1. In the window titled How would you like to repair your Microsoft 365 and Office Programs, select Online Repair > Repair to ensure all issues get fixed.
  2. The Quick Repair option is also available but only detects and replaces corrupted files.
  3. MSI-based:
    1. In the Change your installation window, select Repair.
    2. Click Continue.

5. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the repair.
